WHY HOWI

Why HOWI, an independently owned LLC, serves the Dallas/Fort Worth assisting with Medicare solutions and needed simple, clean branding and a place to guide potential clients to.

The Challenge

Because the majority of WhyHOWI’s target audience is over the age of 65 (and eligible for Medicare), it was important to design an easy-to-navigate website with clear, concise copy without getting too caught up on aesthetics.

For this project, the information needed to stand above branding, without overwhelming potential customers.

The Plan

Since there are numerous ways for Why HOWI to help potential customers with Medicare solutions, it became clear that putting too much information would become overwhelming. I worked with the client to build a website that directed potential customers to contact them once they’ve enrolled in Medicare and were ready to discuss next steps. Throughout the website there are several spots where one can contact Why HOWI for more information and I also assisted the client with setting up an inbox through G-Suite to create an easy-to-remember email that matched the domain of their new website.

I kept the branding very minimal and clean with a simple text-based logo that also added what HOWI stood for (Helping Others With Insurance). I also included a brief bio to the face behind Why HOWI to bring a touch of personality and humanity to an otherwise very clinical industry.

The final thing to be added to the website was a simple FAQ that showed potential customers where to apply and enroll into Medicare. The instructions were kept simple, highlighting the ease of working with Why HOWI with the steps that come after one has enrolled.



The Results

Sometimes, less is more. And in the case of Why HOWI, a simple, yet elegant one-page website that clearly points to how to contact Why HOWI for further information is doing exactly what it needs to do without confusing potential customers with information overload.
